Abstract Linear Background

MC's Certifications

In 2000, I began my journey to become a certified Equine Body Worker (EBW), and in 2001, I passed all requirements necessary to do so.

The same year, I completed Equinology’s Advanced Equine Massage Techniques course and in 2007,  Equinology’s Understanding Equine Nutrition course, presented by a veterinarian from Rutgers University.

I am constantly evolving and learning about the body of the horse as a multidimensional being and have learned so much from other practitioners, techniques, and especially the horses.

NOTE: Although the intention of care is to address musculoskeletal-electrical wellness, including spinal comfort and flexibility, I am not a veterinarian, nor do I hold a doctorate in animal chiropractic. My services are not to be confused as such. Seek necessary attention when needed.

After many years being educated about the horse's body by the act of listening to the situations of each horse and applying thousands of manual hands-on "elbow grease" and functional energy equine bodywork sessions, and having many successes: an in-depth understanding of the connective tissue "issue" became clear. Understanding the connections between the mind, muscles, and bones is what I believe can help them and compelled me to attend courses through VOMTECH.com. Established by a veterinarian and orthopedic surgeon, VOM and VMR techniques and their mechanical approach address the horse's muscle and connective tissue changes that become painful and mobility-limiting "impingements" in and around the skeleton. In 2006, I passed all requirements to become a certified VOM and VMR technician (para-practitioner). I am a certified and experienced Equine Body Worker (Equine Masseuse), offering the dual application of hands-on and tool-facilitated approaches. Learn more on the TF-EBW About page.
